I’m the face (and the stomach) behind HomeCookTravels.com. I am just a regular person, fueled by my passion for living and exploring different places while cooking delicious foods – often at the same time.
I am from Mesa, Arizona, and I’m currently based in Bogota, Colombia, along with my wife when we are not traveling. I have traveled to various countries and contents, with my favorite continent being Latin America as a whole and Colombia as my favorite country (no bias, of course: My wife is Colombian, haha)

On this blog, you’ll find quick and tasty meals I cook while traveling the world in different accommodations such as Airbnb, hostels, housesit, and RVs. I understand that while traveling worldwide, not all accommodations have the cooking supplies you may need. Thus, I will guide you with my experiences and teach you what recipe works best for all travel scenarios.
I aim to give you recipes that are both totally doable and exciting enough to make you look forward to cooking, whether solo in a hostel, sharing a meal with loved ones or a friend in an Airbnb stay.
